This week we cover the results from Sweden with the Vargarda Team Time Trial, and the Road Race. We also have an interesting diversion into how the calendar shift of this race has changed the way it’s raced and the results. Ella CyclingTips this week had a really interesting interview with Leah Thorvilson, the Canyon-SRAM rider who was the winner of last year’s Zwift Academy. We discuss that interview and the broader impact of Zwift Academy on the sport, especially interesting as the second year of the program is due to start in September. As always, lots more fun, laughter and Australian weather updates included! (47:28 MIN / 43.50 MB)

It’s time for our review of the 2016 season, what the first year of the Women’s World Tour brought us and some speculation around what we can expect for 2017. There’s some really interesting things that have happened. We get into some of the bigger questions about how the WWT has (or hasn’t) changed things, and we take a bit of a look at the Zwift and Canyon project along with heaps more. In our classic style, what we planned for one podcast is now a part one, so enjoy your Christmas and we’ll be back next week with a part two! (1:03:08 MIN / 57.81 MB)
