Videos & media from Stage 1 of the OVO Energy Women’s Tour – and Stage 2 #RiderResults competition

I have to admit, I spent the entire evening laughing about how Stage 1 of the OVO Energy Women’s Tour went down.  I know, I know, Schadenfreude is a bit mean, but that was a really fun stage to “watch” online.  I’m not going to spoiler it, watch the highlights below – and then I’ll tell you who I’ve picked for the Look Mum No Hands! #RiderResults Stage 2 competition, and then share the results, photos and more social media I’ve enjoyed from day 1.  As always, I’ll add in more highlights as I see them.

First the 40 minute highlights from ITV4.  These will be available for 30 days now, but if you’re not in the UK, you might need a VPN to see them.  Of course I recommend watching them on ITV, but if you can’t do that, watch them here:

Next, very short highlights from the race, 5 minutes from the UCI, Wiggle High5’s take, and then the UCI highlights (with spoiler on the video cover, sorry!) and then the winner’s interview:

Podcast 2016 Episode 38 – The Year Ahead (Part 2)

Podcast logoFollowing on from last week’s episode we round out our review of the 2016 season and talk a little more about how we think things will shape up in 2017. There’s been a fair bit of movement among the teams, with some really interesting new line ups. Can Boels Dolmans dominate again? Will they achieve the same level of winning as their astonishing 2016? Will some other team step up to challenge their dominance? What will Marianne Vos’ new team look like? And how will other teams find their feet? We discuss all of this and more, including the important new investigation from the Dutch federation. There’s lots to cover, just in time to round out the year! (Also, Dan wants to note that yes, he’s given this Part 2 episode a different title from Part 1 because he’s a lovable rogue who enjoys breaking conventions so you’ll just have to deal with it).
