“Racing my bike and having fun” – Sarah interviews Lauren Hall

Podcast interview logoI’ve always liked Lauren Hall’s racing for her attacking nature, team-player attitude, and for just how happy she always seems to be riding her bike, no matter what the weather.  She started 2015 really strongly, but after a couple of nasty crashes, the year took a downturn, until she came back in the autumn, winning a stage of the tough Boels Rental Ladies Tour, and being part of the Twenty 16 p/b Sho-Air squad that came 5th in the Team Time Trial World Championships, the highest placed USA team in the race.  We talked about her bouncing back from her hard year, coming from racing in the USA to Europe, what she loves about cycling, how her soccer/football helps her cycling, and a lot more, including cordon bleu recipes for roadkill…..  we laugh a lot, as you can imagine!

Last week’s women’s cycling news

We’re starting with something very close to a lot of women’s, erm, hearts….

Our friend Clara Beard interviewed Molly Hurfurd about Molly’s book Saddle Sore – a whole book about women’s genitalia and cycling.  Read the interview on Girl Bike Love, and then find out more on the Saddle Sore websiteBuy the e-book, for you or for the women in your life!

Clara also interviewed Rachel Heal, on DSing for United Healthcare – and being the first ever woman to DS at Milan-Sanremo.  Read the Q&A, it’s really interesting.
