This week’s episode covers a lot of historic moments in the midst of a very dynamic 2017 season. There’s Tour of the Gila in the US and Omloop van Borsele to cover off, along with the first ever women’s edition of Liege-Bastogne-Liege in all it’s conTEXT and glory. There’s some interesting articles from during the week including the latest edition of Ella’s SHE-cret Pro which seems to have stirred up a bit of controversy. In addition to which we take the time to appropriately thank the UCI for their help with making La Course more La Course-y than ever before.

Pietermaritzburg was such a great way to start the 2014 MTB World Cup – superb racing, hot and dusty, rock gardens and hard courses. Here’s all the video – and the amazing photos – from the downhill and cross country women’s races – and please, as always, share anything you find in the comments and on twitter.
Here’s the full replay of the downhill finals – the 10 fastest qualifying women and the 30 fastest men.
I love the Orpheus Productions dh videos, and now they’re making them for Red Bull Bike – here’s their film from the finals, with some great moments and rider interviews.
This weekend it wasn’t just the start of the Road World Championships, it was also the end of the MTB season, with the 2013 Four Cross World Championships and the final round in the 2013 Downhill World Cup, at the Leogang bikepark. Both were completely spectacular to watch, and as you might imagine, being the extreme end of MTB, they have a LOT of brilliant media.
