Podcast 2014 Episode 26 – One of Us Has DanFlu

The-Unofficial,-Unsanctioned-Women's-UCI-Cycling-ShowHi everyone! This week Dan’s sick and Sarah’s full of sympathy while we discuss the European National Championships weekend (which was full of doubles and triples and other amazing feats of cycling prowess). We also preview the Giro Rosa, the biggest stage race on the women’s calendar. We go through each of the stages analysing the route and discussing possible race scenarios. We do our best to highlight the most exciting bits of the race for you, which turned out to be really easy because the answer is that all of it is the most exciting bit! Seriously though, we highlight GC contenders like last year’s winner Mara Abbott and the indomitable Marianne Vos, but we also look at why they may not take out overall honours as there are several stages this year that under the right conditions will give big opportunities to other teams and riders to take out stage racing glory. Get ready to get excited (or to get the flu)! (1:18:12 MIN / 75.08 MB)
