Hello everyone! This week Sarah and Dan tackle the most intense deconstruction of three paragraphs you’re likely to hear all week. As dull as that sounds, it’s guaranteed to be better than your high school poetry assessment, so there’s that! In racing news, we recap the action from Cholet-Pays de Loire and take a quick look ahead at an exciting weekend of Trofeo Binda and Gent – Wevelgem. Of course, there’s a lot more to the episode than just that, but telling you any more now would defeat the purpose of listening to it, so get excited and press play! (1:10:56 MIN / 68.10 MB)

Things we talked about this week
Last week’s racing
Full results, and race report on the Wiggle Honda website.
This week we’re not podcasting, but we’ve had all kinds of news and videos from women’s cycling in the last week or so – so here’s a random round-up, with videos, blogs, articles and all kinds of things I’ve liked in the last week in women’s cycling – road, crits, MTB, BMX, breakfast tacos, how to cool down a laptop and more!
This week’s racing
No video yet, but Emma Johansson won, for the second year in a row. She was racing with the Swedish National Team, but still has a race report on the ORICA-AIS website, and there’s a race report from Hitec too. Full results on the race website.
GP Comune di Cornaredo
UPDATE! Another video, from Wiggle Honda
Race report on Tiffany Cromwell’s website – Results on CyclingFever
Delray Beach Twilight
The first round of the USA Crits, the Delray Beach Twilight, was livestreamed, and you can watch the full race video – the women start around 2:30:00 – or just the women’s highlights
It’s a feast of treats for you this week! First off we recap last week’s racing, making sure to check in on Emma Johansson breaking her streak of 3rd places, fortunately for her she did it by snagging a win. We also take stock of who’s been crashing (and I take over Sarah’s usual role of being the bastard in the podcast for a few minutes). We invent the best tasting cycling cocktail ever! We also discover that Sarah is a failure at pop culture, shocking I know. We also talk through some Exergy news and Sarah tells us about her favourite team launch event of all time. There’s a lot to cover so you’d best get listening now! (1:01:55 MIN / 59:45 MB)
