2017 Gent-Wevelgem – videos, media and more

After we had livestreaming of the first three round of the 2017 Women’s WorldTour, Strade Bianche, the Ronde van Drenthe and Trofeo Alfredo Binda, unfortunately we won’t get much for Round 4, Gent-Wevelgem.  But I’ve collected videos, photos and race reports from the WorldTour, and also some snippets from Round 2 of the Junior Nations Cup, and the U17 women’s races.

First, the WorldTour – please click on the Sporza highlights, to show that there is an audience for the sport.  And here are the UCI highlights:

Some factoids – Elena Cecchini is the only rider who has been in the Top 10 of each of the 2017 Women’s WorldTour races this year – and only Chantal Blaak, Elisa Longo Borghini and Annemiek van Vleuten have been Top 10 three times.  Only Coryn Rivera has been on the podium more than once this year – and the average age of the winner has gone up this week, from 23 after Binda, to 24 this week.

Team reports from Alé Cipollini, Canyon-SRAM, Lensworld-Kuota and Boels-Dolmans.
