It’s that time of year again – the biggest women’s bike race in the UK, and one of the biggest in the world, the Aviva Women’s Tour, which last year was the Friends Life Women’s Tour. I have to admit a massive bias about this race, because once again I’m working on it, running the live twitter and online updates – but trust me, it’s marvellous. 5 stages, from Wednesday 17th-Sunday 21st June 2015. There’s no live tv, but there’s an hour of highlights every night at 8pm BST (21:00 Euro CEST; 3pm North American EST; 5am Aussie AEDT) on ITV4, streamed here in the UK, via filmon.com elsewhere, and there are likely to be streams on places like CyclingFans, and you need to watch this, if only because Marianne Vos is one of the commentators! It’ll be shown on other tv channels too – check out the tv guide for more. If you want to follow the race action as it happens, I’ll be tweeting from the @thewomenstour account, and there’ll be a live ticker on the race website, where you can find everything about the race. My audio interviews are going up on my soundcloud too, and you can find a ton of interesting things about the race on the #AvivaWT2015 twitter hashtag. There’s a lot of video and links around about this race – I know you’ll love it as much as I will!
