Watch the 2014 Fort William Downhill World Cup live!

After two MTB World Cups which were all about cross country, we’re back to the downhill – and one spectacular course, Fort William, in Scotland.  Here’s the UCI trailer (weirdly light on Rachel Atherton! We ALWAYS want more Rach!)

Of course the women’s and men’s finals will be streamed live on Red Bull tv – here’s the stream, it goes live on Sunday 8th June, at 2:15pm BST (15:15 Euro CEST; 9:15am USA EST; 6:15am USA PST; 1:15am Aus AEST) and if you click through you’ll see the count-down to work out timings in other countries.

There should be a ton of photos and videos from the practice days as well as the races – I’ll be looking on Dirt Magazine, Pinkbike, Vital MTB and of course, the race website.

If you want to see what riders think about the course, here’s an interview with Madison Saracen‘s superstar Manon Carpenter talking about what the race means to her. (Want more Manon?  Here’s a video following a day in her life training)

Want to know what it’s like to ride?  Marc Beaumont of GT Factory Racing has a helmetcam video from the course when it was part of the British Downhill Series

and I always always always love Claudio Calouri’s helmetcam course previews – here’s his Fort William video, on Red Bull bike.
