Podcast 2014 – Episode 19 – Stompity Stompity Stomp

Podcast logoThis week Sarah begged me to name the episode “Donate your mountains” but that just doesn’t work because she ‘s in a stomping mood, mostly due to a lack of video from China this year. But even without video there was some great racing and lots to talk about. The Tour of Chongming Island and the Chongming World Cup, the Trofee Maarten Wynants, Battle on the Border and even more. We ponder the big questions like “With so many photographers and video cameras at Chongming, where did all the video and photos disappear to?” and “Is Point Danger to Mount Warning the name of the first stage of Battle on the Border or the name of a Queensland sex education textbook?” Enjoy! Next week’s racing:

(Why so little information?  Those 3 UCI road races don’t have websites, although of course Cycling Fever have pulled together whatever startlists they can find.  I’ve a feeling we’ll have to wait for results to find anything about them – and yes, we really DO believe that all races and teams should have to have evidence of at least a basic website before they get UCI status, and have to provide a basic level of info as part of that deal)
