Watch Cyclocross World Cup #6, Rome, LIVE!

The mid-winter cyclocross has been so exciting, with Katie Compton v Marianne Vos as the main event among the women.  The next round is Rome, on Sunday 5th January 2014, and as always with this season’s World Cups, the women’s and men’s races will be streamed live on the UCI youtube with commentary in English – and as soon as the race is over, the stream converts into the full re-run archive:

If you can’t see the stream where you are, try adding Hola or Tunnelbear, and setting yourself to the UK.  There’ll also be streams of Belgian coverage in the usual places.

The women’s race will start at 13:30 European time (12:30pm UK, 7:30am USA EST and 11:30pm Aus AEDT)  and the men’s at 15:00 CET (2pm UK, 9am USA EST, 6am USA PST and 1am Aus AEDT) – and that UCI video is a countdown ticker, so you can work out when it is in your timezone too.

There’s more information on the race website, and the standings after 5 rounds are on the UCI site.  There’ll be information and live updates for the men’s race on Sporza’s Roma Match Center, and they’ll have lots of videoclips of the men afterwards there too.  I’ll be most likely chatting though the race on twitter and in a livethread on Podium Café – do come and join me!

If you’ve missed any of the CX, there were two World Cups, three bpost bank trofee races and a SuperPrestige all over a 12-day period.  I’ve collected all the videos I’ve found, with links to other videos and photos etc, in this post.

UPDATE!  Here’s Marianne Vos talking about the race in English:
