Videos and links from the 2013 GP de Plouay World Cup

Yesterday was the final round of the 2013 women’s UCI Road World Cup, the GP de Plouay.  And here’s what happened, with more videos and links below…

UPDATE!  And the full video coverage is below

It’s in two parts, on Daily Motion – part 1 and part 2.  Thanks so much to the knghts of the internet!

Update!  Here’s the half-hour UCI show on the Vårgårda and Plouay World Cups:

UPDATE!  There’s a fantastic clip following Lizzie Armitstead, in the 24 hours before the race, and afterwards in this episode of the BBC’s “Inspire: The Olympic Journey.  The Lizzie part is from 5 minutes, and I think it’s one of the best short films I’ve seen for explaining about road cycling.  It might be geo-restricted to the UK, but I really recommend seeing if you can watch it.

Here’s a tiny France 3 video report: arrivee vos plouay by france3Bretagne

And here’s more post-race video interview from Marianne Vos, in English and a bit of French:
L’interview de Marianne Vos by france3Bretagne

There are race reports and photos on womenscycling.net, and CJ Foto; Photos from Anton Vos on CorVos; ORICA-AIS have a race report (I think Dave McPartland may have been a bit post-race in his views…); and I was super-happy that great French women’s cycling fans, Gwéna & Clo_sr were both there – you can see Gwéna’s photos of the day on her site, and Clo_sr’s will be up soon on VeloNova (check out a preview of what’s to come on her twitter and her VeloNova twitter)

Full results on CQ Ranking, and the final World Cup ranking after the race.

UPDATE! There are two reports in Spanish, on Cobbles & Hills and El Pelotón.

There are some reports of the preparations for the 4 Days of Plouay on the Plouay tv page (watch out for music!) and I’m guessing some videos of the World Cup might turn up there at some time too?

If I see any more, I’ll add it in…  and if you see anything you’ve liked, let me know in the comments or on twitter and I’ll be very grateful!
