Videos! Thursday 20th December

On Monday I posted a set of different videos from the week in women’s cycling – and I can’t believe I’ve got another post-full already!  Videos from road team camps, the world of track, cross-country and downhill MTB and much more…  as always, tell me any that I’ve missed in the comments, or on twitter. And don’t forget to #ClickThruThurs to the links, and to the video pages themselves, to show everyone how much we love women’s cycling videos!

But I’m starting with the Dutch Olympians lip-synching to Call Me Maybe, because I know you want to see Marianne Vos, Annemiek van Vleuten, Ellen van Dijk and Loes Gunnewijk do this (surrounded by lots of other Dutch sports stars from London 2012!  Click through and watch!

Next, here’s video from the Orica-AIS training camp (I like Tiffany Cromwell’s description of men’s cycling, but I’m a little bit scared of the elf dance at the end!)

And here’s the BePink training camp video – in the snow!

The three AthertonsRachel, Gee and Dan – are huge stars of the Mountain Bike world, with former downhill World Champ Rachel winning the 2012 UCI DH World Cup.  They’ve always been involved in some great video work (check out the 3 series of The Atherton Project on Red Bull tv) and this year they’ve filmed Four by Three.  The first episode was all about Rachel at Fort William (scroll down for the video) and the latest and last one is all about their family life in Wales – all with some superb riding.  Click through, scroll down and have a look!

If Cross Country is more your thing, here’s a little video tribute to the elite women of XC (Thanks Tania!)

At the British Revolution track series in Manchester on 1st December, there was some incredible women’s racing – Marianne Vos, Ellen van Dijk, Vera Koedooder, Amy Pieters and Nina Kessler racing for the Dutch, against a British team of Lizzie Armitstead, Joanna Rowsell, Lucy Garner, Elinor Barker and Katie Colclough.  They rode a half-omnium – a scratch race, points race and an elimination.  This video has the interviews with Vos and Armitstead from the tv coverage, the whole elimination race, and highlights of the points and scratch.

For even MORE Marianne Vos, here’s an interview with her by the UCI, talking about her 2012 (thanks Bassface!)

And finally, here’s a video from Specialized about their women’s ride month in November – fun times for women who showed up with their bikes for a day on the road

Also, it’s about time Revolution UK released a decent video of Vos v. Armitstead. That was fantastic!

Here’s a Vos interview (in Dutch) at last Tuesday’s NOS SportGala in Amsterdam:
