Amber Pierce’s live Q&A – Friday 26th October 2012
— Amber Pierce (Rais) (@ambermalika) October 25, 2012
If you don’t know about her already, Amber Pierce is a USA cyclist who’s been racing in double-road-World-Champion Giorgia Bronzini’s sprint train at Diadora Pasta Zara. She’s a loyal domestique, but she’s also this superb ambassador for women’s cycling, and one of my Superstars of Social Media. I love her twitter, and her blogs on Triple Crankset (check out the 25 things about her, and her most recent post, on sharing the bike love with her mum) – and over the course of 2012’s fantastic Giro Donne, the hardest stage race on the women’s calendar, she ran a series of post-stage live online video Q&As where she answered pretty much everything fans could throw at her. They gave so much insight into the racing, so I’m delighted she’s doing some more!
If you’re around, join Amber tomorrow, Friday 26th October, at 20:00 CEST, 7pm UK, 2pm USA Eastern or 11am USA Pacific (and ungodly hours on Saturday morning if you’re Australian!). The Q&A will be hosted on Glacier Gloves’ facebook page, although you don’t need a facebook account to ask questions and watch the answers, thanks to @ImpetusAgency‘s cunning set-up. I really recommend this (especially Amber starting pretty much every answer with “Goooooooooooooood QUEStion!”), whether you’re a diehard women’s cycling fan, or brand-new to it, and would like to ask some really basic Qs. I bet you’ll love it!
